Doggie Style Pets has Helped Save the Lives of Over 12,000 Pets!
We are proud to now partner with ACCT Philly, the region’s only open intake animal shelter and the only animal care and control service provider in Philadelphia, to help homeless, abandoned, and abused dogs from Philadelphia find happy homes. Below is a list of current adoptable dogs at our stores. Every dog you adopt will help create space for another dog in need!
This program is currently being piloted at select locations.
Questions? Our preference is for you to not call the store. You will receive a timely response through email at: dspadopt@acctphilly.org
How to Adopt
For animals located at our stores you can stop by during normal business hours. We recommend booking time for a meet and greet.
You can also fill out an adoption application before you arrive.
This will expedite the process, as it allows us to have this information on hand and store it for the future. Please note that filling out an application does not place any kind of hold on an animal, nor does it guarantee an adoption. You will not be contacted after filling out an application, it will only be used if you come to the store for an animal you are interested in.
Adoption Guidelines
Before you adopt, you will be asked to provide one veterinary reference or three personal references. We require that any resident dogs and children come to meet any potential new dog family members. If this isn’t possible we encourage you to email ACCT about an exception, as we cannot guarantee one will be made on site. If you rent you should check with your landlord to see if you need permission to have a pet. Please remember to bring an up-to-date photo ID. Each adoption requires a small fee that includes the cost to spay or neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip.
Adoption Fees
Puppy (Under 10 months) | $550.00
Adult (10+ months) | $425.00
Philly Bred (10+ months) | $250.00
Senior (7+ years) | $225.00 |
What are the benefits of your adoption? Your adopted dog will be microchipped, provided flea preventative and dewormed, given age appropriate vaccines, and spayed or neutered – normally these services would cost a dog owner in Philadelphia more than $500!
